"కొత్త విషయం వ్రాయి" అంటే ఎలా ఉంటుంది.

"విషయం సృష్టించు" బానేవుంది. పైవాటిలో అదే నయం. ఈ "కంటెంట్" అనే మాటతో పెద్ద ఇబ్బందే! వికీపీడియాలో 'విషయం' అని అనేక చోట్ల రాసాను. కానీ అదే మాటను వేరే చోట్ల రాయవలసి వచ్చేసరికి (ఉదా: సబ్జెక్ట్) ఆలోచనలో పడ్డాను. ఈమధ్య "కంటెంటు" అనే రాయడం మొదలు పెట్టాను. ఇదీ, ఇలాంటి మరికొన్ని పదాల మీదా, చర్చ జరగాల్సి ఉంది. ఇప్పటికిప్పుడు నాకు తోచిన పదాలు కొన్ని.. టెక్స్ట్ (గద్యం అని కొన్ని చోట్ల రాసి, టెక్స్టుకు స్థిరపడ్డాను), పార్టిసిపెంట్ :) (పాల్గొనువారు!?), కాంట్రిబ్యూషన్ (సమర్పణ అని రాసాను గానీ అంత బాగున్నట్టు తోచదు!), ఓనర్‌షిప్ :)

ఈ చర్చకు ఇది మంచి వేదిక అనుకుంటా.

Contentకి సంగతి సరిపోతుందేమో. వ్యవహారంలో ఈ పదాన్ని Matter అన్న పదానికి ఎక్కువగా వాడతాము. Content, Matter రెండూ చాలా దగ్గర పదాలే కదా. Create Content - సంగతి సృష్టి అనవచ్చేమో.
సామగ్రి లేదా విషయసామగ్రి కూడా బావుంది. వేరే ఎక్కడా ఉపయోగించం కాబట్టి దీన్ని Content అన్న పదానికి వాడుకోవచ్చు.

I am a new member and I am yet to acquire skills in typing in Telugu. I am not at ease to read Telugu Vakyalu typed out in English and hence I am typing in English language itself. I may kindly be excused for the present. I shall learn to type in Telugu quite soon to over come this difficulty.
"Create Content" obviously refers to creating something "new" Veeven has said "Vishayam Srishtinchu" did not give him satisfaction. Perhaps, it was because, this padabandham does not bring out "Kottadanam" that is intrinsic in the English phrase "Create Content".
Further, "Create Content" is an Imperative Sentence (i.e., in the form of an order). It may go well with the culture of English language, but not with that of Telugu. When we see "Ekkuta" or "Diguta" on the stair cases in a railway station or Bus stand, we are happier than when see "Ekku", or "Digu". What I mean is "Vishaya Srishti" (in the noun form) is better than "Vishayanni Srishtinchu" (in the verbal form) Moreover, Vishaya Sristhi is crisp than "Vishayanni Srishtinch". Shall I suggest "KottaVishaya nirmanam"?
Please, drop out "Kra Ravadi". Why shall we write Kra-ravadi when no one, not even professors of Telugu language call it "KROTTA"?
I am very happy that there is a forum to discuss on coining new words in Telugu here. And it is not left to the mercy of Pundits! If coining new words are left to Pundits, the language is instantly killed because what they create can never be spoken!
My humble suggestion to one and all is that there can be translation of a sentence into another language but, there cannot be translation of a word into another language. There can only be creation/coining of words to suit the style of our language. So, if a word/phrase is in the form of order in a foreign language, it can take the form of noun in Telugu. It brings in a native auroma and also it might be crisp.
I am afraid, I ventured too much on my first post. I have been waiting to vent my feelings on coining of words in Telugu for so many years and now that I got an opportunity, I could not stop my own voice.
